Our team is comprised of highly skilled and experienced personnel who are passionate about sustainable agriculture and forestry practices. Our diverse backgrounds and expertise equip us to manage and lead forestry projects effectively globally. We hold innovation, environmental stewardship, and community engagement at the core of our values. Our leadership team is committed to driving positive ag forest industry change using a collaborative approach, strategic planning, and hands-on experience. We aim to deliver turnkey solutions that cater to the unique needs of our clients while ensuring the long-term health and productivity of forests worldwide.

John Hedlund, SCPM, MBA
President & CEO

John is an experienced leader with more than 25 years of leadership expertise in both domestic and international Fortune 500 companies as well as start-up enterprises. He has occupied senior management roles across a range of industries, including bioinformatics, industrial engineering, healthcare, manufacturing, and finance. His career trajectory includes serving as an executive officer and company founder, showcasing a robust foundation in processes, infrastructure, consulting, and operations.

John possesses a robust academic background, which includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, a Specialized Certificate in Professional Management from Stanford University School for Professional Development, and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management. In addition to his extensive educational accomplishments, John distinguished himself as an NCAA National Volleyball Champion and an All-American volleyball player at USC. He further enhanced his athletic career by competing professionally in volleyball across Italy, England, and Germany. Additionally, John is a Black Belt in Kenpo Karate and serves as a junior instructor.

John is married to his wife and twin girls and lives in Northern California.

Georgios Trantidis

Executive Team,  Director EMEA

An accomplished business development and operations executive with extensive experience in the energy, oil, and gas sectors, spanning upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. He possesses proven expertise in operational work and trading and has established and nurtured strong relationships with major oil companies, national oil companies (NOCs), shipping agencies, ship-owners, expeditors, customs and ports authorities, agents, inspectors, terminals, all of which are essential in the trading and logistics process.

 

Georgios has been actively involved in structuring intergovernmental agreements between national oil companies for trading, upstream development, and exploration projects, as well as in negotiating cooperation agreements and commercial contracts. He is adept at working independently and collaboratively as part of a team and is capable of handling administrative duties competentlyGeorgios is an effective communicator at all levels, possessing advanced negotiating and mediating skills, along with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Rodolfo Tarraubella

Executive Team, Director Latin America

An extensive background in environmental and social initiatives and has held numerous prestigious positions. For instance, he is the President of the EcoConciencia Foundation, President of the World Certification Council (Latin-American chapter), and the former President of CIFAL Argentina (UNITAR – United Nations). In addition, he is the creator of the Sustainability and Climate Finance Secretariat and has developed the "Community Transparency System," a valuable tool for managing socio-environmental conflicts. Rodolfo Tarraubella has also made significant contributions to integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into corporate strategies and improving certification protocols for the SDGs. He has been involved in certifying several companies in SDGs, such as the Port of Dock Sud, Port of Buenos Aires, Terminal Exolgan, and TRP.

 

Furthermore, he has founded initiatives such as THE TRUST MAKERS, which focuses on protecting rainforests, jungles, and mangroves using advanced satellite technology. Additionally, he has played a vital role in promoting green bonds and sustainable finance, as evidenced by his involvement in the Santo Domingo Declaration on Green Bonds and Sustainable Finance. His expertise is not limited to these initiatives, as he is also a member of the international group TNFD (Taskforce Nature-Related Financial Disclosure), where he contributes to generating metrics for calculating the economic cost of biodiversity loss. Moreover, he provides advisory services to governments and multinational companies, and his foundation, EcoConciencia, has been actively involved in addressing socio-environmental conflicts in various mining projects.

Teo Hamalis

Executive Team, Investor Relations

A key member of the executive team, Teo is responsible for leading investor relations. With extensive experience in geopolitical mediation and global manufacturing spanning over a decade, Teo specializes in providing comprehensive solutions such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) offerings.

 

Additionally, he excels in the realm of global green fintech and carbon credit services. His primary focus revolves around developing sustainable and innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency and environmental responsibility while also facilitating partner access to funding, hardware, and diplomatic services.

George Strouzakis

Executive Team, Technology Innovation

George Strouzakis is an accomplished entrepreneur with a long-standing career in the voice and data communications systems industry. He possesses extensive expertise in carrier networks and is the first licensed alternative operator in Greece. His professional background includes the design and prototyping of carrier systems, as well as the development of cutting-edge software and innovative solutions for tactical, mission-critical, and government communications systems for NATO countries.

George is adept at leveraging highly attuned analytical skills to transform concepts, aspirations, and life-saving necessities into tangible products and systems, guided by the principle of "Intelligent Simplicity." He consistently upholds the highest standards of business ethics and partnership integrity, fostering trusted relationships and delivering excellence. Certified by TRACE and holding NATO Secret Security Clearance, George adeptly navigates complex projects and requests, ensuring their completion with unwavering integrity, precision, and efficacy.

Rod Hiemstra

Director of Applied Science and Global Field Operations

Rod brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. With a background in soil regeneration technology and

extensive experience as a soil health consultant, Rod plays a crucial role in TriPoint's applied science, microbial technology, and field implementations. Working closely with the Senior Director of Science and Research, Rod is instrumental in establishing the company's global science operations. His expertise in environmental health, including hazardous waste management, water quality management, and air pollution, further enhances his contributions. Additionally, Rod has significant entrepreneurial experience, having successfully run businesses in the USA and conducted business in Southeast Asia.

 

Rod holds a Master's in Human Resource Management, graduate studies in Environmental Health, and a Bachelor's in Marine Biology. His diverse educational and professional background makes him a well-rounded expert in his field.
